Finally. College is over and although the plans for the next few years are still in the works one thing is for sure, I'm going to Italy! As promised during my freshman year, if I graduated from Harvard (long story) I'd get select where I could go for my graduation present. Well, the time has arrived and I depart Monday for my favorite and much studied country. Traveling with my boyfriend, Joe (no this is not a honeymoon people), we will learn how to eat and drink as the Italians do while visiting some of the most amazing places. As a plus we're visiting my cousin in Switzerland :)
Access to Wi-Fi permitting, I will update the blog with photos and tidbits of our adventures. Feel free to post suggestions of places to visit in the cities we're visiting. Below is a skeleton of our itinerary:
Monday, June 14th: We leave!
Tuesday, June 15th: Arrive in Rome in the evening
Wednesday, June 16th: Rome
Thursday, June 17th: Rome
Friday, June 18th: Leave Rome, head to Florence
Saturday, June 19th: Florence
Sunday, June 20th: Leave Florence, head to Venice
Monday, June 21st: Venice
Tuesday, June 22nd: Leave Venice, head to Switzerland
Wednesday, June 23rd: Leave Switzerland, head to Milan
Thursday, June 24th: Back to the States
